Exponential julia sets

vivianimbriotis | Nov. 16, 2019, 1:42 p.m.

Images of the Julia sets on the argand plane for Re(Z) in (-4,2) and Im(Z) in (2,2) of a family of exponential functions given by f(z)=exp(z)exp(ia), a in (0,2pi). The color represents the number of iterations before the Julia sequence diverges, and the color palette is randomly generated by the colormind API. The condition for divergence (if Re(Z) > 50) was from Prasad, Bhagwati & Katiyar, Kuldip, Dynamics of Julia Sets for Complex Exponential Functions, published in Communications in Computer and Information Science. The code is available on my github.
